“Sometimes I feel like it’s a burden, other times I feel older, more grown up and able to deal with situations other people my age can’t.  Joseph is demanding - he constantly wants attention.  He can be violent - I've seen three grown men struggle to hold him down. In a way I feel like I have spent the best part of my childhood looking after him. Lately I’ve had more freedom but it is always within the boundaries of my brother.  I’m going to St. Martins Art College in September but I know that no matter what I do I’ll always have to be there for him.”
